Neighbouring countries surrounded ISIS also won't have a peaceful day to live.
The death of the late-Thai King and a new King arrived, Thai also concerned about the future of Thailand under the new King's reign.
With Durtete as President, everyday bloody battle among drug lord,addict and dealer in Philippines, execution without trial.
In Malaysia, the PM still secured his place as country leader even though he received challenges from his former mentor and Department of Justice of USA on behalf of 1MDB.
Even a small city like Hong Kong is not really peaceful, a few democratically elected LegCo representative may lose their seat under the intervention of Chinese Authority, but who started the fire first?
No doubt that President Trump will be bring us to a brave new world that beyond our imagination. Is early 21st century marked it as the dawn of Western Giant like USA and EU since no Empire last forever. Whenever an empire fell, fellow Earthling would live in chaos.
Some optimist may think it's time China to be the big brother to control our world. Economically speaking, China has already done that through manufacturing and exportation. With large wealth in China, all the expensive luxury housing units across the globe were owned by them. After all, South East Asia leaders who used to against China for South China Sea intervention are now shifting their reliability to China. Best examples are Philippine and Malaysia.
But just to remind you about the China government,
They valued loyalty more than rationality,
Questioning the leader can be a crime,
Insulting the leader can be a serious offence,
Insulting the country, I have no idea what would be happening, as I referenced Hong Kong recent event, two democratically elected Legco representative were likely to lose their seat because of calling China as "Jina", Republic as "Refucking".
(Personally they deserved it but they started the spark for China Intervention that makes me feel sorry to Hong Kong Citizens)

A few famous Hong Kong artists who voiced out strongly to participate Umbrella Movement had been boycot by all the Entertainment Industry in Hong Kong. Even a French Brand, Lancome need to issue an apology due to hiring one of these artists to promote their event.

18th-19th Century: Napoleonic War (1803-1815), Rise of the British Empire
19th-20th Century: 1st World War (1914-1918), 2nd World War (1939-1945) and Cold War (1947-1991)
All these events above had shaped the world we see today. Every generation in each century will go through a major chaos that shape our future. What will be the 21st Century's chaos? Are fellow Gen X, Y and Z are the generation would face all the harse similar to our grandparent who experienced the World War.
With introduction of ISIS, events like Brexit and Trump's reign in the next 4 years, will the historian marked these events and upcoming events as major chaos in history of humanity in the 30th Century?

If you're not British citizen, you can't do anything for Brexit.
If you're an ordinary citizen, you can't stop ISIS plan the bomb in your country.
When your country leader is corrupted and power abuser, you can't really do anything.
As Gandalf said,
"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us"
As simple as it is not really up to our decision, that's the major message J.R. Tolkien intended to deliver it to us based on his experience in the first World War.
Regardless who are you and where are you, just brace yourselves, do your best fill up your remaining time with more happiness or something meaningful.
Remember our ancestors had survived through all the chaos since 1300, your existence is a sign of their legacy through DNA. Don't waste their legacy after they survived a 1000 years of chaos.
They could do it, we should be able to do it as well.

Even in our darkest moment, there were some stars shine on us.
After all, we are as common as the people in the West. In my parent's generation, they used to idolize the Westerner and hope that their children treated the Westerner as role model.
With Brexit and Trump's victory, we're Asian are very common with the Americans. British and European.
Special Note to fellow Engineers:
Being optimistic, Trump's victory can be a surprise, perhaps he really makes the World great again with a second surprise that we will never know.
Will be thankful if the USA would be as bad as Bush's reign under Trump's leadership.
Worst of all, 2nd cold war or World War 3.
Practically, launching war is not as easy as in the past unless the government acted like North Korea to spend all the fund on military. With financial crisis since 1997, not many country has the fund to launch a war yet but of course, Trump's victory might be giving us another surprise.
When the worst case scenario happened, my fellow engineers, your responsibilities will be greater than now. Today, you are just building a structure to let someone to have more money in their bank account. When a war really started, you may not have the opportunity to build the weapon but the world still need you to rebuild their homeland.
During a war and chaos, money has no value, insurance has no protection, only your engineering skill are essential to make the world great again. Keep learning and be hardworking to develop your engineering skill because it will be practically useful when the time has come.
